This is the home-style version, so it may be healthier than the one at the restaurant. I like making the Mexican rice with cilantro broth, which adds to the flavor. I like cooking it on the stove top and then stick it in the oven for 30 minutes. Good with guacamole (also home made) refried beans, salsa, and whatever else you like. Even if you serve just the rice and beans, it’ll be delicious!
